By late spring of 2016, outsider businessman Donald Trump had shocked the political world and emerged as the winner in the Republican Primary. From the moment he descended the escalator, Trump employed many unconventional strategies which seemed to guarantee victory before his battles were ever fought. He turned his greatest enemy, the media, into his most effective asset, baiting them into dedicating their entire programming to attacking him. By doing so, and without realizing it, the media became the main conduit for his campaign messages, while simultaneously destroying their own credibility. This phenomenon, which has come to be known as the “Trump Curse,” also played out on an individual level. In trying to counter Trump’s attacks, each of the other 16 candidates ended up destroying themselves, turning what was already a crushing defeat into total annihilation. The country was astonished by Trump’s meteoric rise and wondered, how is he doing this?
That August, a 4chan thread suggested an answer, and spawned what is arguably the best Trump conspiracy theory:

The theory is so compelling because the underlying details are verifiable, despite being widely unknown, and are very curious in their own right. Donald Trump actually does have a connection to Tesla through his uncle John, who was tasked with doing exactly what the thread alleges. Likewise, someone using the name John Titor really did post to internet forums in the early 2000s, claiming to be from the future and warning of a post-nuclear war dystopia. Trump has mentioned his uncle many times during interviews over the years, who he says taught him about the danger of nuclear weapons. He became passionate about the issue, and world peace at large, in the 1980s, and even graced the cover of Manhattan, inc. magazine while holding a dove.
It’s also true that Trump has an entertaining history of creating false personas to hype up the strength of his company and his desirability as a lover, using the fictitious names John Barron and John Miller, respectively. His use of the name John in homage to his uncle makes sense too.
Tesla’s time travel research was rooted in his lifelong quest to understand the mysteries of electricity, because he believed the two are linked. Hollywood filmmakers would have us believe they are, and they know much more than they say out loud. It didn’t take long for others in the thread to connect the time travel theory with lightning striking Trump Tower earlier that year. Could it have been more than just an omen? Similarly, in the waning days of the 2020 campaign, could what appeared to have simply been three flashes of cosmic irony have actually been the time machine being activated again?
Strap in. Here’s where things go from interesting, coincidental and possible to downright spooky.
A short time later, researchers discovered the books written by a man named Ingersoll Lockwood in the 1890s. One is called Baron Trump’s Marvelous Underground Journey. It’s about a quiet young boy named Baron Trump who was born into a wealthy family and lives at a place called Castle Trump. Baron is guided by the Master of Masters, known as The Don, who gives him a map to a portal in Russia which will allow him to travel through time. The other, 1900 or The Last President, should give readers pause from the title alone. It opens by describing New York City in a state of uproar after the election of an outsider candidate as president, and how the Fifth Avenue Hotel was in danger from a mob of anarchists and socialists. Later in the book, the new president would go on to appoint a man named Pence to his cabinet.
In another twist, the Barron Trump we know today might be more involved in the shadow war than we can imagine. Barron is suspected of having been the OP of the thread, who posted a hint about his identity, and the president has bragged about his computer skills on numerous occasions. Others have noticed that Barron doesn’t just look more like his father than the rest of the Trump children, he looks exactly like him. They speculate that Barron is Donald, who retrieved a younger version of himself from another timeline to fulfill some hidden purpose in this one. Could it be?
Either way, the OP went on to describe a complicated plot in which nefarious actors also possess time machines. He alleged that Trump, aided by clones of Mike Pence, has been fighting Hillary Clinton in multiple timelines for a long time, and one of his primary goals was to prevent the 9/11 attacks. There are no sources to support those claims, but it’s notable in any context that private citizen Donald Trump sounded an awful lot like a 9/11 truther immediately after the attacks. In an interview during the 2016 campaign, he told reporters, "You will find out who really knocked down the World Trade Center."
That’s quite a story, but if we want to take it seriously, we have to address the obvious question. Is time travel even possible? In 2017, officials from CERN and the University of Geneva concluded, “Teleportation and travelling forwards through time may be possible through wormholes, the bipolar black holes that link different regions of the universe.” In an October QuiteFrankly.tv post about CERN, we learned how physicists believe detecting mini black holes might lead to the discovery of other dimensions, and that a CERN press release even admitted their Large Hadron Collider could be used to deliberately create mini black holes.
That post discussed other information relevant to the time travel theory as well. Namely, it appears to be possible to make mathematical changes to the spacetime continuum (to alter reality) by changing the people’s perception of that reality (meme magic) using a subatomic particle accelerator. The Mandela Effect is suspected to be an example of this occurring in our timeline. CERN is probably not on Trump’s side, but their Japanese counterpart organization, KEK, might be. Participants in the thread also speculated about the meme magic connection, and the OP responded that indeed, Trump knows how timeline changes work.
We can’t definitively prove that Trump is a time traveler based on the information presented here, but I’d like to end with one last observation. The majority of human communication is nonverbal, and the Quite Frankly audience knows better than most that intuition and the subconscious are not things to be ignored. Look at this photograph of our president. Look at his face. It should not be possible for a man to be this smug. This is not just the face of a confident man. This is the face of a man who knows he can’t lose:
If hindsight somehow proves the time travel theory to be true, Trump will go down not only as one of history’s biggest winners, but also as one of history’s biggest hypocrites. To be clear, I’m not in any way suggesting his alleged timeline-altering power plays were wrong or unnecessary. I just think it’s pretty rich for Trump to accuse his enemies of rigging the election when he might be guilty of rigging reality itself.
